Job Title: Weighbridge Operative
Location: Banbury
Start Date: June 2026
Pay Rate: £13.50 – £17.50 (Negotiable based on experience and pay type - PAYE, Umbrella)

Morson Edge are looking for a Weighbridge Operative in the Banbury area, to work on an aggregate mixing and concrete plant, which includes both road and rail material export.

The role will involve operating the weighbridge on site, to accurately weigh vehicles and materials going on / off site, as well as processing documentation and logging I.T systems, to ensure smooth traffic flow on site.

Daily duties will including but are not limited to:

• Operating weighbridge system efficiently and accurately
• Recording vehicle weights and maintain accurate data records, logging data onto systems
• Issuing tickets, delivery notes, and related paperwork
• Liaising with drivers, customers, and site staff professionally
• Monitoring incoming and outgoing vehicles
• Ensuring compliance with site health & safety procedures
• Reporting discrepancies or issues to management

Candidates will ideally have:

• Previous weighbridge operation experience
• Worked in a similar environment before, such as on a mixing plant or manufacturing plant
• Strong communication skills
• I.T skills including computer data entry, able to file and log data
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
