Vacancy: Senior Associate - Operational Resilience\n\nContract: Permanent\n Salary: Up to £27,500 per annum\n Location: West London\n Start Date: Immediate requirement\n\nWe are currently seeking a Senior Associate - Operational Resilience to join our Operational Resilience function on a permanent basis. This is an office-based role suited to a motivated professional with experience in operational resilience, business continuity, and third-party risk management within a regulated environment.\n\nCandidates will be assessed on their knowledge and research of the role and job description, and those with hands-on experience in Business Continuity Planning, Vendor/Outsourcing Management, and Operational Risk will be given preference.\n\nRole Overview\n\nThe role supports the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of the Operational Resilience framework. You will assist senior management in ensuring critical services remain resilient, identifying gaps in processes and controls, and embedding resilience practices across the organisation.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nOperational Resilience\n\nDevelop, review, and support implementation of Operational Resilience policies and action plans\n\nSupport Business Impact Analysis (BIA) processes, including data collection, training stakeholders, and producing consolidated reports\n\nAct as first-line point of contact for Operational Resilience matters\n\nCoordinate third-party resilience assessments\n\nSupport incident management activities and governance reporting\n\nAssist with cyber resilience, IT resilience, and business continuity oversight\n\nParticipate in Operational Resilience working groups and governance forums\n\nReview and challenge operational risk impacts of new projects\n\nAssist in embedding a strong Operational Resilience culture through training, workshops, surveys, and awareness initiatives\n\nCollect and monitor MI for Senior Management and Board reporting\n\nEnsure appropriate record keeping and GDPR compliance\n\nBusiness Continuity Planning\n\nSupport the design and delivery of Business Continuity standards\n\nAssist with recovery arrangements and annual BCP testing\n\nSupport development of continuity plans and staff training\n\nMaintain BCP timetables and reporting\n\nOutsourcing & Third-Party Risk\n\nSupport the Outsourcing framework in line with SYSC 8 requirements\n\nAssist with embedding outsourcing policies, regulatory requirements, and audit findings\n\nSupport contract oversight and annual reviews\n\nPrepare MI and reporting for Senior Management and the Board\n\nPolicy, Training & Audit\n\nAssist in drafting policies, processes, strategies, and frameworks\n\nSupport workshops and training on crisis management, outsourcing, and BCP\n\nAssist in responding to and closing audit actions\n\nSkills & Experience Required\n\nMinimum 3 years' experience in operational risk / operational resilience within a bank or regulated financial services environment\n\nStrong understanding of Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, and Regulatory expectations\n\nExperience developing and implementing policies and procedures\n\nAbility to work to tight deadlines and under pressure\n\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills\n\nCollaborative team player with a proactive mindset\n\nCommitment to organisational aims and objectives\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to build long-term experience in Operational Resilience within a regulated financial services environment
