Through our group structure we combine commercial expertise with meaningful social impact.\n\nWhy this role matters\n\nThis role is responsible for the overall leadership and performance of the recruitment partnership. You will safeguard governance and compliance, strengthen stakeholder relationships and drive commercial growth in line with the agreed Business Plan.\n\nYour leadership will directly influence service quality, financial performance and long-term partnership success.\n\nWhat you’ll be doing\n\nLead and develop a high performing team across Talent Partners and Resourcing & Customer Services\n\nDrive delivery against profit and loss targets ensuring year on year gross profit growth and strong cost control\n\nBuild and maintain senior stakeholder relationships with Hammersmith & Fulham Council, shareholders and internal group partners\n\nOversee governance and compliance in line with employment legislation and the Procurement Act 2023\n\nManage and improve end to end recruitment and workforce processes ensuring strong controls and reportable exceptions\n\nMonitor service performance against agreed service levels and lead continuous improvement initiatives\n\nPrepare and present performance reports to the Executive Board and attend board meetings\n\nLead responses to audits and Freedom of Information requests ensuring accurate and timely reporting\n\nDevelop and implement attraction and retention strategies aligned to the Business Plan\n\nAct as Data Protection Champion and Health and Safety representative for the partnership\n\nWhat we’re looking for\n\nExperience at a senior level within a recruitment agency or managed service environment\n\nProven track record of leading and developing high performing teams\n\nStrong commercial awareness with experience managing profit and loss budgets\n\nKnowledge of relevant legislation including Agency Workers Regulations IR35 and Equality legislation\n\nAbility to influence and communicate effectively at senior stakeholder level\n\nStrong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities\n\nExperience delivering services into the public sector environment is desirable\n\nConfident using recruitment CRM systems and Microsoft Office packages\n\nWhat you’ll get in return\n\nSalary of up to £55,000 per annum + Bonus + Commission\n\n25 days annual leave plus your birthday off\n\nLife assurance cover at four times salary\n\nPension scheme with up to 6% employer contribution\n\nAdditional benefits including retail and gym discounts health cash plan and cycle to work scheme\n\nVolunteer days and access to a comprehensive wellbeing programme\n\nTailored learning and development support with real opportunities to progress\n\nWhy CSG\n\nCommercial Services Group is the UK’s largest local authority owned trading company generating over £800 million in revenue and supporting 16,000 education and public sector customers worldwide.
